About the venue

How to get to the Centre Paul Langevin of the CNRS at Aussois:

1) By train to Chambéry train station on the first day of the school (Sunday September 1st). From there, one or two buses (at times to be defined) will leave to Centre Langevin of the CNRS (more information early June on this point). Travel takes a bare 1.5 hour to the Centre. Buses will be organized also for the departure, from Aussois to Chambéry on the last day of the school, September 13th;

2) By train, to the Modane train station. The station is currently not serviced by trains, as there was a barrier collapse on the train path, but a replacement bus is provided. From Modane, a taxi can be taken up to the Centre Langevin of the CNRS;

3) The closest airports to Aussois are Grenoble and Lyon. But there are many train connections from Paris to Modane, so the Parisian airports can also be used.
